What personal data we collect and why

General. Any data collected about visitors to our website is limited to standard web logs, such as the IP address, the browser being used (e.g., Firefox, Explorer, Safari, Chrome, etc.) and the domain name from which a visitor entered our site. We only use this information in aggregate to improve our website and your user experience. Cookies are required to facilitate this process as well as optimize your access to our website.

Downloads of content, documents and the like are only tracked as to the number of downloads by item – no personal information is gathered when you download items unless you complete and submit the form to be included in our mailing list.

If you contact us by email, post, phone or other electronic means such as subscribing to our newsletters, we may collect personal data that you provide to us during such communications. We may also ask you to complete surveys that we use solely for research purposes. Should you complete any surveys, we will only collect any personal information that you provide to us when you completed the survey.

Security Logs. The IP address of visitors, user ID of logged in users, and username of login attempts are conditionally logged to check for malicious activity and to protect the site from specific kinds of attacks. Examples of conditions when logging occurs include login attempts, log out requests, requests for suspicious URLs, changes to site content, and password updates. This information is retained for 14 days.

Anti-Spam Services. We collect information about visitors who comment on our site through Akismet anti-spam service. The information we collect depends typically includes the commenter's IP address, user agent, referrer, and Site URL (along with other information directly provided by the commenter such as their name, username, email address, and the comment itself).

Agency + Supplier Registration. Agencies and marketing suppliers that register in our proprietary agency and marketing supplier profile databases, whether through our online tool or other means, and provide information to Bajkowski + Partners LLC, acknowledge that the person providing the data is authorized to represent the supplier and is solely responsible for the accuracy of the information provided therein. Further, you are providing Bajkowski + Partners with authorization to share this information with prospective clients as part of an agency or marketing supplier search, and Bajkowski + Partners has no obligation to you or your company to notify you of when such information is shared or to include your company in any searches.

Data Collection Practices + Embedded Content from Other Websites. Our website contains links to other sites, including our social media pages, those belonging to our strategic partners, news outlets, and other industry resources.

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Bajkowski + Partners is not responsible for the privacy practices or security breaches arising from these sites.

 

Bajkowski + Partners affirms that it will not make public any information therein beyond the scope previously described. If you no longer wish to have your company listed in our proprietary database or presented to a potential client, we must receive written notice from an authorized representative of your agency at least ten (10) business days prior to such notice going into effect.

Who we do and do not share your data with

Strategic Partners + Alliances. We have mutual non-disclosure agreements with our strategic partners and alliances, and do not provide them with any information about our clients or suppliers within our database unless we are jointly proposing services in response to an RFP and performing contracted services. Nor do we share website user information with our strategic partners and alliances.

How long we retain your data

Security logs are retained for 14 days. All other data you provide through our Agency and Marketing Supplier Registration site is retained for at least two years. If you've registered to receive emails, newsletters and other such marketing materials from us, your data will be retained until you unsubscribe through the means available for each distribution channel.

Where we send your data

This site is scanned for potential malware and vulnerabilities by Sucuri's SiteCheck. We do not send personal information to Sucuri; however, Sucuri could find personal information posted publicly (such as in comments) during their scan. For more details, please see Sucuri's privacy policy.

This site is part of a network of sites that protect against distributed brute force attacks. To enable this protection, the IP address of visitors attempting to log into the site is shared with a service provided by ithemes.com.
